When cutting, bending, and assembling processes are employed to build metallic structures, it is metal fabrication. Fabrication companies and shops bid on a project based on engineering drawings. If they are awarded the contract, they employ methods like welding, cutting, forming, and machining to build the product.
How are these methods carried out?
- Cutting is done by sawing, shearing, or chiseling.
- Bending is done by hammering.

Cutting and Burning
